The Perth Fashion Festival team have announced the 13 lucky Western Australian labels to showcase their designs in WA Designer Collections at this year’s Perth Fashion Festival (PFF) 2012.
Fashion followers will be treated to one spectacular show featuring multiple designers all under the one roof at Fashion Paramount in September.
“Labels are selected by an independent panel of industry experts across the retail buying, media, and design industries. Applications are open to all WA based designers in the developmental stage of their careers that have been operational as a label for five years or less,” says Chelsey Wayte – Designer Liaison, Perth Fashion Festival.
“The panel judges each designer against set criteria, looking for those with strength in areas such as quality of construction, design innovation, collection cohesion, and runway appeal. We received an overwhelming amount of applications this year, and I am thrilled by the calibre of labels that we have in store for WA Designer Collections 2012.”
